Dr. Bhatia has extensive expertise in all facets of medical dermatology with an interest in the immunobiology of the skin. He has practiced medicine for over 20 years, and has served as Principal Investigator for numerous dermatological and cosmetological clinical studies.
Dr. Bhatia is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and sits on the Board of Directors for the AAD. He is currently an Associate Professor of Dermatology at Harbor UCLA Medical Center, and is widely published and active in professional societies.
Aside from Dr. Bhatia's interest in clinical research, his main focus is patient care and serving as your doctor.
Geri Taitano is responsible for our front desk operations, and is our primary contact for patients, vendors and corporate guests. Geri greets all visitors, answers and routes phone calls. She also handles new patient registration intake, scheduling, private patient billing and also provides administrative help to staff.
Geri participates in the management of our building facilities, coordinating with various vendors for maintenance and repair. Supplies for the building, break room and general office, etc. are also coordinated and distributed by Geri.
Geri has an extensive background in transportation management. She has her Certificate of Completion in DOT HazMat General & Security Awareness and is responsible for any shipping of hazardous materials.
Marc Del Bono graduated from Imperial Valley College in 2001 and continued his career in community service as a Firefighter/Paramedic with the City of Vista Fire Department until transitioning to Dermatology field and graduating from Kaplan Collage MA program in 2015. Marc completed his AA in Social & Behavior Sciences in 2021 and is pursuing his BA in Sociology with ASU.
Marc works as Dr. Neal Bhatia’s CMA-Clinic Lead and Biologics Coordinator at Therapeutics. He works closely with patients with onboarding of Biologics, injection training, patient advocacy, and education and is very fluent with the buy & bill, prior certification, appeal and approval process as a Prior Authorization Certified Specialist (PACS).
Marc Del Bono has been a CMA Biologics educator and lecturer for 3 years leading virtual lectures and discussion meetings. He has served as a consultant for Regeneron & Sanofi Genzyme, Novartis Pharmaceuticals, EPI Health, and Allergan. Marc serves on the National Board of Prior Authorization Specialists as an Executive Committee Board member and as an Advisory Board member as a Biologic Coordinator for Sanofi Pharmaceuticals.
Marc regularly attends educations programs for systemic therapies for expanded experience in the dermatologic field, and has also navigated through telemedicine platforms to expand patient outreach for the clinic. Marc’s passion is dedicated to patient advocacy and positive patient outcomes.
